THE NUTMEG SUITE

Please note that this apartment is not suitable for toddlers and children aged between 6 months and 6 years owing to the potential hazards its verandas, steps and swimming pool may present to a small child.

For both Suites:

• A minimum stay of 3 nights is usually required, (stay's of less than 3 nights can be requested, and are at the owners’ discretion).
• A minimum stay of 7 nights is usually required for the Christmas & New Year periods. (Stays of less than 7 nights can be requested, and are at the owners’ discretion).

Unlike other accommodations, We make NO additional supplements for our single travellers and NO extra charges for peak periods.

THE RATES SHOWN ABOVE INCLUDE:
The 'Guest Apartment' accommodation.
Linen - change for all beds is provided in the drawers.
Hand and bath towels & Beach towels for all guests.
Cleaning/linen change by maid once every 8 days.
Wireless internet connection if you bring your laptop computer.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS:
Air-conditioning in the master bedrooms at the nightly rate of EC$ 40.00 (GBP £ 8.00 or US$ 15.00)

A pre-arranged transfer from Point Salines Airport to the Guest Apartments. (1-2 persons) The cost is £ 10.00/US$ 20.00/EC$55.00 per vehicle. ( add additional $US15 per additional person)

For a fee, the owners are also able to offer guests pre-arranged transfers to or from St. Georges and Grand Anse during their stay.

A food starter pack:-

One order contains:
1 bottle of water, 1 carton of fruit juice, 1 carton of long life milk, 1 small jar of coffee, 4 tea bags, 1 loaf of white bread, 2 eggs, 1 mini local jam spread, 1 small block of cheese, 4 slices of ham or bacon, a small tub of margarine, a small bottle of cooking oil, 4 local fruits, 2 local beers and 2 cans of soda. The cost is £ 19.50/US$35.00/EC$ 95.00 for 1 order.

Order 2: Receive double the quantities listed above.

Order 3: Receive triple the quantities listed above.

Kindly note that if you wish to add to, or substitute an item, i.e. white for brown bread, this request can be taken at the time of ordering.

For additional items, or if you wish to send your own customised list of shopping items, you will be required to pay the cost of the items (a receipt will be retained for you) plus a delivery charge of US$ 15.00/EC$ 40.00.

A starter supply of toilet tissue, washing up liquid and soap are provided with the compliments of your host family.

FREE Mobile Phone :-

For added peace of mind, guests can borrow a pay-as you–go mobile phone and charger for use whilst on the island. This allows guests to have their own direct contact line whilst in Grenada. Guests can make phone calls and send text messages. Please pre-book to avoid disappointment (this service is subject to availability) and you can be advised of the mobile telephone number before you depart for Grenada.

Travelling with Children :

This accommodation is suitable for families travelling with babies who are
not at the crawling or walking stage. A baby crib, cot, car seat and
stroller can be provided free of charge.

Facilities available for both ‘Guests Apartments' to share:-

Amenities that include use of the sun deck, veranda and swimming pool.
A barbecue with utensils.
Patio table's and chairs.
Landscaped gardens with lush tropical plants and organically grown fruits, vegetables and herbs.
A laundry room with an automatic washing machine and basin. There are washing lines inside and out - handy for hanging out swimwear after a dip in the pool !
Free wireless Internet connection is available for use by guests that wish to bring along their own wireless capable laptop computer. This service is not guaranteed but has been working well since it was installed. So far the connection has been consistent and strong enough to service any guests staying in both apartments, and the connection is also strong on the sun deck. Use of a computer is not provided, however there are Internet cafes on the island, should you need to use them.

All of the above facilities are also used by the host family.

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

A deposit of 20% is required to secure a booking.

Options to pay are If you are located in the UK:-

Payment by sterling cheque in GBP or Credit Card - visa or MasterCard

If you are located in the USA/CANADA or other parts of Europe/Worldwide:-

Payment by credit card - visa or MasterCard

PLEASE NOTE All credit card payments are subject to a 5% processing fee

Please note that deposit payments are non-refundable.

To secure your booking you must pay a 20% deposit or full payment is required if your booking is made within 6 weeks of your arrival date. In some short notice cases, payment upon arrival is accepted. -Cash/credit card only,

Please note no refunds are given if you cancel your visit within 8 weeks of your arrival date.

The balance payment will be required 6 weeks prior to your arrival.

After your dates have been confirmed and your deposit or full payment has been received, one date change can be made free of charge (subject to the date change being within 6 months of your original booking date, and your new requested dates being available). Any subsequent date changes will incur a charge of US$25 per person.

As with all holidays, travel insurance is strongly recommended. Cancellation policy is if you should cancel more than 6 weeks prior to your arrival date - Loss of deposit. If you should cancel less than 6 weeks prior to your arrival dates - Loss of 100% of the total cost.

A receipt for all payments will be sent to you via mail if you are resident in the UK and via e-mail if you are not resident in the UK.

10-14 days prior to your arrival date, if you are resident in the UK, a travel information pack and a map will be mailed to you, and via email if you are not resident in the UK.

Directions to your accommodation, the address and accommodation contact numbers will be included in this information pack. *IMPORTANT* Keep this handy-You will need the name and full address of the apartments to clear immigration & customs in Grenada.

An accommodation security deposit of EC$ 540 (equivalent to £120 or US$ 200) will be taken upon check-in at your accommodation. This deposit can be made in cash or signed travelers cheques (EC$, sterling or US$). Provided no property damage or breakages are sustained during the period of this accommodation rental, any cash or travelers cheques will be refunded in full. The Refund will be carried out at the time of your departure.

The information and photos on this web site are designed to give an accurate impression of the accommodation and facilities on offer although some minor variations may occur as a result of changes made by the owners. The residential area the house is located in sometimes has other properties being built. The owners of Grenada Gold are not responsible for any building work being carried our in the area

In the highly unlikely event that you should not like the property after you arrive, we regret that no refunds can be made after arrival.
